historischen Thema im modernen Gewand. Aus allt\u00e4glichen Situationen und Zitatelementen wird der Mensch nackt und verletzlich herausgerissen. Es ist der Tod, der sich sprichw\u00f6rtlich einen runter holt auf die immer gleichen ideologischen Versprechen. Die Skulptur ist eine direkte Konfrontation, bei der es nichts zu besch\u00f6nigen gibt. Die Wehrmachtssanit\u00e4tskiste auf der sie sitzt ist ebenso plakativ wie die Sprache der neuen Rechten: Ein Heilsversprechen, dass alles besser wird, so wie die Mullbinden Heilung f\u00fcr die Verwundeten der vielen Kriege versprechen. Doch im Krieg gewinnt nur der Tod, der sich dem einsamen Lustgewinn hingibt. Der Totentanz versteht sich hier sowohl als Ma\u00dfnahme gegen die Entsolidarisierung als auch als Vorwarnung. Zwei beinahe Jubil\u00e4en (der 1. Weltkrieg endete vor knapp 100 Jahren, der 2. Weltkrieg vor beinahe 75 Jahren), die viele Totent\u00e4nze des irdischen Schreckens hervorgebracht haben, sollen uns mit der Geschichte konfrontieren. Daraus zu lernen ist eines der wichtigstes Anliegen von D\u00e9sir\u00e9e Wickler. Die Schuldfrage stellt sich nicht in der Vergangenheit sondern im Umgang mit der Gegenwart f\u00fcr die Zukunft.
